Ladun Awobokun is the Chief Content Officer at FilmOne Limited, a leading force in Nigeria’s film production and distribution space. She is responsible for shaping content strategy, driving licensing and distribution deals, and expanding FilmOne’s footprint across theatrical, TVOD, SVOD, and AVOD platforms.

Before becoming CCO in 2024, she served as General Manager and Head of Distribution, Sales & Operations, where she led the rollout of major studio releases from Warner Bros, Sony, and Disney. Under her leadership, FilmOne managed the distribution of over 90% of Nigeria’s top-grossing films — including A Tribe Called Judah, Ajosepo, and Wakanda Forever.

Ladun has also championed the marketing and positioning of blockbuster hits such as Omo Ghetto: The Saga and Coming 2 America, while pushing for industry transparency through tools like Comscore and initiatives like the Nigerian Box Office Yearbook.

Recognized in Billboard’s Women in Music 2023 and featured in numerous press publications such as Punch and This Day as one of Nigeria’s most influential media executives, she is a passionate advocate for intentional storytelling, data-led strategy, and sustainable business models in Nollywood.
